Kira was found born at the colony Asseca. She was about four months old when she came to the attention of the caretaker. She was very sweet and friendly so it was decided to have her adopted from the colony.

Kira remains at the Municipal Canil overnight for observation and blood tests.
20 October 2023
Kira has an infection and will be treated for antibiotics for three weeks. She tested negative for felv and fiv so can be adopted. Kira is now in temporary foster during her treatment and preparation for adoption.
3 December 2023
Kira was adopted today.
20 February 2024
Kira who was adopted November 2023 was put to sleep. Her owner reported Kira had breathing difficulties and was taken to the vet where she didn't respond to treatment and she had fluid on her lungs. The cause of Kira's illness was not known.
Unfortunately it was also reported that Kira had a bullet lodged near the top of her spinal chord. This is probably the cause of Kira's walking difficulties when she was first rescued. RIP you beautiful girl.
